New Perspectives

by | Apr 10, 2020

Where do I begin? My world, our world, has seen so many changes in the last year I hardly know where to begin. So, thought I would begin with a new perspective. As I begin to transition to a new part of my journey, in retiring from my career of the last 15 years to new adventures and endeavors with Alaka’i Associates, I look forward to sharing those new insights with all of you.

I want to start with a few of the resources and practices that have brought me to this point over the last year. First, you may recall I shared with you the exciting book, The 5 Second Rule, by Mel Robbins, and her 5 Second Journal. Both of these have helped me tremendously to find focus each day. Sometimes, it is as simple as 5-4-3-2-1, just get up out of bed, that can jump-start my day.

The second resource I have returned to over and over again over the last 20+ years is Simple Abundance, by Sarah Ban Breathnach. I first read this in 1998 and along with The Simple Abundance Journal of Gratitude, have found a constant companion when I feel like I am losing my balance.

I also want to invite you to follow me on Facebook at  for daily posts. The blog will continue on a monthly basis.

Again, thank you all for continuing to share the journey with me.

A hui hou…
