Our House
Our house of 40 years has shared much laughter and joy as well as tears and heartache. It has grown to provide for a growing family and experienced multiple birthday parties, anniversaries, holiday celebrations, and Sunday dinners. It has opened its doors to family, friends, and even a few strangers (who quickly became friends).
Our house projects the love and happiness within its four walls. It recalls hearing children playing football or soccer in the backyard, or the sounds of music for singing and dancing. It has danced to a wide variety of musical preferences over the years, from classic rock, to metal bands, to Hawaiian. Our house has felt the pain of loss and family trials and tribulations as we moved through the cycles of life. Our house has experienced the joy of new generations who have come to know “our house” as theirs, with its doors always open.
Our house is a very, very, very fine house! E komo mai!
