What’s right?

Last July I introduced you to a book by Pamela Grout, E2, where we talked about tapping in to the Universe and the possibilities of making miracles happen. Today I would like to come back to that book and share with you some of the closing thoughts that summarize the key concepts in this powerful little book:  “You are awesome…Absolutely anything is possible…We’re all in this together.”

So, looking at your life, ask yourself, “What’s right?” Focusing on everything that is right is a way to retrain your brain away from looking at “what’s wrong.” Every single thought has a power and energy to change your world. It is so easy to get distracted from this as we move through our daily existence so we must create a habit of turning those negative thoughts around to see the potential for change.

One way to do this is to keep a notebook or journal to note down the thoughts that you wish to change. Or just to note the positive moments or acts of kindness from others. Those are the things that are “right” in the world. Just the other night having dinner with friends, one of them mentioned that he has begun this practice as it relates to the new non-profit that he and his wife have started. Every time they are faced with a dilemma, and put it out to the power of the Universe (God) and the field of possibilities, they have recorded the miracles that occur to solve the problem at hand. It’s working!

Gary Zukav, author of Seat of the Soul, writes, “By choosing your thoughts, and by selecting which emotional currents you will release and which you will reinforce, you determine the…effects that you will have upon others, and the nature of the experiences of your life.”

Now it’s your turn, and remember, “You are awesome…Absolutely anything is possible…We’re all in this together.”

until next time…
